I'm feeling rather girly and beloved. The management gave me greeting cards and gift cards and free lunch. Once I knew free lunch was involved, I stopped trying to resist.
I am not a secretary. I am an administrative professional. By definition, that means that I do work for people who are usually paid better than I am, yet lack the intelligence to understand office software to the extent that I do. I believe that's what it says in the American Heritage Dictionary.
I do really enjoy working where I do. Everyone is so nice. I think my gift for this holiday from the E2020 folks was a shiny new 10-minute smoke break.
