Vindication
Some people strive for success so they can honor people they respect. Some do it for survival, or to make life better for their kids/families.
I strive to succeed so that I can look into the faces of those who have tormented me, and with a clear conscience, say, "Fuck you!!!"
At least, in this case, I am able to figuratively do that.
I found out yesterday, that the company has sent my offer letter to my house. The title is what I wanted, the benefits are what I'd hoped for, and the money is better than I asked for. I'm pretty happy about it.
**ET** doesn't know this stuff, yet...but I think she is slowly figuring it out. And I know it just burns her ass. Especially since she's been trying to tear me down for months--hell, she even made me her fucking lackey for a week or two before the office manager stepped in.
