Hold the phones
Cell phones may be to blame for the honeybee shortage plaguing U.S. farmers.
Ah, my sweet bees. I am willing to accept that cell phones are evil, but I have read some interviews with beekeepers who don't buy this theory. I'd like to see some more scientific testing on this.
It makes me terribly sad to think of all those wayward bees out there, starving to death because they can't get home. But, that's why they put it in the articles.
If I had time, I'd like to know about how the theory developed, how it was tested, what the controls were, etc. Are bees dying all over the world, or just here? What do we do that other countries don't?
This just seems like grasping, to me.
